Subnet mask 255.255.255.0įrom my experience the iSerial cannot accept an IP address of 192.168.0.XXX due to a bug in the firmware, therefore your address range needs to be 192.168.1.XXX or higher. The IP address range of the router is 192.168.0.XXX and the gateway is 192.168.0.1. The only change in the setup is the router which makes me think the router is the culprit. Then I moved it to its current location and it doesn't respond to that address anymore. Here is an example of us sending a ping to a device on our network: The iSerial will also respond to pings on your local network.

Here is a link to the pdf about the VCOM software. You run it and it will return all of the IP addresses of the iSerials on your network. We have a small piece of software called VCOM (PC only) that is used to scan your local network for any iSerial.
